Cajun Dirty Rice

A delicate and mild, but very flavorful dish that is very popular down in Louisiana.

INSTRUCTIONS: Add contents of package and 1/2 stick of butter to 3 1/2 cups of boiling water. Stir thoroughly. Reduce heat, salt & pepper to taste, put on a tight lid and simmer for about 25 minutes with the lid on until the rice is done. When the rice is done, turn the heat off and let the rice stand for 10 ten minutes with the lid still on. Serve as a side dish or add Italian Sausage, Polish Sausage, Chicken, Shrimp or etc. This is a mild variety of Cajun Dirty Rice. If you want to kick it up a couple of notches, try putting a few drops (and I do mean DROPS!) of our Sun Spot Hot Sauce in the water while you are cooking it!

INGREDIENTS: Rice, Onions, Bell Peppers, Celery, Garlic, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper and Spices.

SERVING SIZE = 8 fl. oz. liquid or 24.75 gr. dry. Each bag makes approximately 8 servings. Use within 6 months for best flavor. Enjoy!
